The Bat And Ball - Canterbury

Everything was so clean n well decorated, our king room was a nice size and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was amazin with fresh pastries n berries, and the staff were really friendly. Its close enough to attractions and walking distance is not that bad. We enjoyed exploring the cathedral n xmas markets nearby!

The location is a bit far from the main high street, and we had to get a taxi to go out in the evening. Parking was a bit tricky.

Staying here was a nice surprise! The room was really pretty and comfy. The staff were super chill and friendly. Breakfast was a real treat, so yum! Only wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger. A great place for anyone wanting to explore the Christmas markets.

We enjoyed a cozy night in the King Room, the bed was comfortable. Although the curtains had a draft issue, the onsite restaurant served a delicious breakfast that was the perfect start to our day. Don't miss the local ales on tap!

The continental breakfast was like wow, tons of fresh pastries n berries, and the staff at breakfast were really friendly. Its just a 20-minute walk to the high street, so not too far! Would defo stay here again, it's a steal for the price.

Old sash windows allow for noticeable drafts, especially with curtains unable to close fully due to incomplete rails-a design quirk I found a bit disconcerting. If you value peace, the main road's traffic noise can be an annoyance during sleep, though it wasn't unbearable. Minor nuisances like these might impact a quiet retreat mood.
